Horn of Africa Missions
Recognizing that The Hope of Africa is in the Harvest, the Horn of Africa Mission was founded in 2002 with the vision of raising up and training local workers who would ignite an explosion of continuously reproductive churches throughout the Horn of Africa and beyond. In the first six years of its ministry, Horn of Africa Mission became the catalytic force behind launching thousands of new churches in one of the most difficult regions on earth!
In June 2008, CityTeam International, acquired Horn of Africa missions. At that same time, Markos Zemede, the founder of Horn of Africa Missions joined the Board of CityTeam Ministries.
This is only possible because the Horn of Africa Mission does the training and equipping while hundreds of local leaders do the actual church planting and then train others to repeat the process.
