Horn of Africa Mission has been blessed with incredible growth! From 2002 through 2008, our training has catalyzed the launch of more than 4,000 new churches. We have seen indigenous churches multiplying to the fifth generation.
Whole communities are coming to faith because individuals and families have completely changed their behavior as they are compelled to wholeheartedly obey the Word of God. A passion to reach their lost neighbors for Christ drives them to repeat the disciple-making cycle and a new generation is born.
Continuous leadership development is the key to expanding existing movements and launching new ones. Horn of Africa Mission’s vision to provide training and equipping to workers and leaders from within the harvest is one of the most critical elements for catalyzing and sustaining these Church Planting Movements.
Our primary tool is what we call Grass Roots Equipping Centers. Grass Roots Equipping Centers provide on-the-job training in a non-institutional, non-academic environment to thousands of local lay workers without extracting them from their culture and community. We have seen indigenous churches multiplying to the fifth generation.
